Q: What is Radiant Minds?

Radiant Minds is a centre that provides girls wellbeing programs that focusses on promoting wellbeing practices in a safe and supportive environment. Our workshops are run by experienced and suitably qualified trainers and facilitators who help girls develop a positive mindset and build resilience.  At some events more than one facilitator may be involved in the delivery of the event.

Q: What is the goal of Radiant Minds?

Radiant Minds aims to help girls build confidence by discovering their strengths and unique qualities. Our programs also focus on developing healthy friendships, mindfulness, self-regulation, coping strategies, resilience, growth mindset, social skills, play skills, and more in a supportive environment. Our goal is to provide young girls with the tools and resources they need to achieve their full potential and lead a fulfilling life.

 

Q: What kind of workshops does Radiant Minds offer?

Radiant Minds offers a range of programs and small group skill based workshops that focus on building self-awareness, mindfulness, and self-care practices. We also offer workshops on healthy relationships and digital wellbeing.

Q: Does Radiant Minds offer psychological treatment?

No, Radiant Minds is not a psychological treatment program. We focus on promoting wellbeing practices and helping girls build resilience in a safe and supportive environment. We emphasise that while these programs are structured to address certain issues they do not guarantee a solution to complex psychological presentations. Our programs are skill based, educational and development programs and are not stand alone treatments or therapeutic interventions. While programs and workshops may assist in addressing some psychological presentations of children and young people, they are not health treatment programs.

At Radiant Minds we pride ourselves on creating a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels supported. We believe in learning, building skills, and making friendships in a non-judgmental atmosphere. That's why we keep our groups small, so everyone has a chance to shine. Our workshops are run by qualified facilitators who help girls develop a positive mindset and build self-awareness.

Q: What age group does Radiant Minds cater to?

Radiant Minds is designed for girls between the ages of 6 and 12. The age ranges specified for our events are indicative and may be adjusted at our discretion to ensure event’s viability. However, we offer programs for different age groups to ensure that the content is age-appropriate and tailored to the needs of each group. We strive to keep age differences within reasonable limits.

Q: What are some examples of the workshops offered by Radiant Minds?

Our programs and workshops aim to enhance specific skills, provide education on certain subjects, or offer strategies. Some examples of the workshops offered by Radiant Minds include mindfulness and meditation, self-care practices, healthy relationships, and digital wellbeing.

Q: Will this help children manage mental health issues?

Our workshops will give them the tools for wellbeing practices. The workshops do not aim to replace individual counselling or other professional support that children may require. They should not be considered a substitute for health services.
